Having a clean home and that gingerbread / pumpkin spice candle burning reminds me of a time my life felt most stable. With my DD dad. Don’t get me wrong, he ended up cheating and I was no angel either, but all of that was before my DD, we split when she was months old. We remain great co parents and are both extremely good friends.
I have always loved autumn for that smell and feel ever since… I never realised why until it hit me today. That was when I left at my safest.
We have both moved on now, I have another DC but I am single due to DA, he has another child, too.
I definitely don’t think I love him still, but despite the cheating, he did make me feel secure. I’m not sure what this post is about I just wanted to share it really!😆
