Emotional Control Again by Ex Husband?

I've had a very difficult last 6 months. Basically I have a stalker who was arrested but continued to harass me and cause all kinds of trouble for me. My ex husband ended up being pulled into things as he was told lies about me. He said he wanted to support me and the kids which he did do. But it seems with an agenda to get back together with me. I have just said that I don't think that's what I want, as he was emotionally abusive and controlling in our marriage though he says he's changed. He has seemed calmer, less jealous etc and I did consider taking him back but I just don't think this is the right thing.
He's now said he can't have the children overnight, though he's been able to sit in my house this week looking after them whilst I go to work. Prior to the stalking he was having them once or twice a week overnight. He's now talking about moving away, hence wouldn't be co parenting. I do about 90% already anyway. I feel like he wants to take away any free time I might have and take away any chance of a social life. Says he can't bear to see me with anyone else. Though I don't even know how I can trust another man ever again and I'm not even interested in a relationship after what I've been through!
The latest is his asking me how many paracetamol is fatal. That came this morning just as I got to work 😪. He threatened suicide before we split up to get me to do what he wanted. I am so upset and angry.

Honestly, if he's asking that and threatening suicide, you either ignore it and know its manipulative and abusive. Or you call his bluff and call emergency services on him - essentially call him out.

Buy a diary and start making notes. Write it all down. Make sure you write in the date he asked about the paracetamol.

If nothing else, you can look back on another day and see how badly he’s treating you and his children.
