Hi all, for those who messaged on my last message thank you, for those who are new here, hi. Long story short but my boyfriend freaked out on me emotionally and gave me an ultimatum to be married and have kids by january.

You will be glad to know, I broke up with him. in addition to the above, he wasnt listerning to my emotions when I said I was upset, he just kept taking offence like it was a personal attack to him or move on from it with talking about it. He's not ready emotionally in a relationship, besides all the other stuff that went on above. I couldn't be honest with him about how I felt any more.

So i broke it off, just been 24 hours and just plodding along. Alot of crying but now is time to move on, hard as it scemes.

Any good advice to repair a broken heart. Or just a message of support will help. Thank you all for you help again ❤️

I'm so glad you dumped him. I've a feeling he will try to get back with you, though, so you'll have to stay strong.

I know it's not popular with some on here but have you ever put it all into ChatGPT? You can go through every single step of the relationship (I bet there was love bombing involved) and ask for help to keep away from him. And I know it's not a substitute for a good conversation with friends and supporters on here, but it means you can perhaps be more honest on there and you can ask the same questions again and again without worrying someone will be bored or will not listen carefully.

It's OK to hurt that's proof of genuine love you poured into the relationship and your bf. We're only human and we will heal with time. Grief is normal and this too shall pass. I promise you, you'll get through this 💪

Just a message of support. How about journalling your feelings - sometimes writing things down can get them out of your head and help stop overthinking?

Well done lovely, you have absolutely done the right thing. You don't want to be in a relationship with someone who is controlling - it would only get worse. It's ok to feel sad but push through, keep busy and get out and see friends. Don't allow yourself to wallow - give yourself a project or take up a new exercise class or join a running group. The best way to get over this is to keep busy 💐
