Am I overreacting to my husband's digs on my birthday?

Hi all

Have been dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety flare up for a few months due to my Mum being unwell.
its my birthday today and myself, husband, 2 daughters and one of their boyfriends for a meal yesterday. I admit I wasn’t in a great mood. But we ended up going to another pub to sit in the garden for a drink. We were talking about our neighbour constantly waking us up in the morning going out to their car. Just a quick comment nothing nasty. Husband that proceeded to laugh and say to the daughter’s boyfriend well she (me) doesn’t like anyone. Everyone laughed and I ended up saying come on is that needed for f sake. It’s one of numerous digs he says to me over the months. It caused a big argument that has carried on into my actual birthday today and I’ve sat on my bed all day.
am i overeacting?

You posted about DH in Jan. The birthday bit is a smokescreen for wider issues between you. Are you both wanting to address this?

You’ve sulked on your bed all day?

Yes - that’s miserable. It was a light hearted comment which you jumped on him at and swore. It would have made it awkward for everyone. You sound like hard work tbf.

It’s hard to know from one side, it’s hard spending time with someone who is negative and you admit you’ve wasn’t in the best mood on the day and also recently so maybe it’s getting to him, maybe he is out of order not sure how we could know.

Just saw the Jan post, you having a meltdown and punching a wall, husband grabbing your hair, teen daughter involved in all this. Much bigger issues going on here, why are you still together?

Sounds like he just made a little joke
