a man from the gym added me on Facebook a few months ago, I post once a week maximum. Today I uploaded a story with a picture of myself and he’s unfriended! quite offended that he thinks I’m ugly/picture was embarrassing. Do you think that’s embarrassing?

How do you know why he unfriended you?

My guess.

He forgot you were on there...he now has a girlfriend. He saw your story and remembered he added you and thought shit, my girlfriend might get funny about this.

I could be wrong but just my first thought

I knew how many people I had on Facebook (round number) after I posted it went straight down so I noticed, I barely have anyone on there

Nothing to do with your story or picture, he might just tidied up/reduced his friend list and deleted those he doesn’t interact much or isn’t that close with. Or he added a few women he was interested in and got lucky with one of them, so he deleted the others.

But if he knows you from the gym, he knows what you look like?

I do this all the time, I like to have a little spring clean of my ‘friends’.

Why is this even registering in your mind? It's so irrelevant and unimportant.

Maybe step back from social media for a while...

First I'd ask why you are re bothered. Is he someone you were trying to date?
Secondly, Id wonder how often you interact on line, or message each other. If it is little to no contact, it would make sense to be culled in a clear out.

His girlfriend or wife was going through his phone, probably because he's the type that adds women from the gym. No single man is deleting a woman for posting a photo.
