How to get stuff back from ex

My sisters boyfriend broke up with her, but she left a few hundred dollars worth of things at his house. He has blocked her on Facebook and won't reply to texts or phone calls. It has been over a week. He lives in an apartment so she needs to be let in before knocking on his door. What should be done?

Use a neutral third party.
If they have a mutual friend or family member he still talks to, ask that person to contact him once on her behalf.
Sometimes people are more willing to coordinate through someone else after a breakup.
Go to the apartment only if it’s reasonable.
She can go during the daytime with a friend for support.
She should not try to force entry or “tailgate” into the building behind another resident.
She can buzz his apartment or call from outside if that’s an option. If he refuses to answer, she should leave peacefully.
