Do I expose her?

I was in a relationship with a woman and fell madly in love with her. Everything was perfect. I recently found out she was still in a long-term relationship AND sleeping with someone else whilst she was with me. When I found out I cut things off but she begged to remain as friends but also expected me to be happy for her from the sidelines whilst she moves back in with her long term partner which I didn’t want to do for my own sanity. Since then she’s blocked me on everything and did so the day before her son’s birthday so I couldn’t even say happy birthday to him after having a long-term bond with him. I feel so angry and hurt and can’t get the thought out of my head of seeking revenge. Would it be wise to tell her partner about her being unfaithful? I’ve even considered exposing her on a cheat page online anonymously. Surely she can’t just get away with this? They live a 5 minute walk from me and I feel like justice hasn’t been done. Please be kind in your responses 🙏

There's no law about cheating and lying - there's no justice to be had. Taking revenge is unlikely to do the child in this much good, and they should be your priority here.
I'm confused about how you had a long term relationship with this person to the point where you formed a bond with their kid(s) and the kid never spilled the beans to either you or the other long-term relationship person?

Walk away with your head held high.

Littlejellyuk · 27/07/2026 11:58

This is a tough one and most people will say walk away. 💯
Firstly make sure you get a sexual health check.
If you are clean then leave it.
Head held high.

I will probably get flayed for this 😆

But if you have crabs or any nasties (STD's), then I would be tempted to message either her or the other person to let them know, ngl. 😬
It's up to you.
Are you willing to be the bigger person?

Not every relationship works out. Not everyone is faithful, kind or fair.
You get over it by moving on with your life.

Tell her partner, he deserves to know

Yogi1993 · 27/07/2026 14:35

FYI the child is a year old

So is the child yours or his?

Well it won’t remember you in a couple of weeks so don’t worry

DelphiniumBlue · 27/07/2026 15:00

If the child is only one he's not even going to understand "Happy Birthday" so don't worry about that.
Presumably she is getting back with the child's father? TBH nothing about this relationship was "perfect", I don't understand how the mother of such a small baby could be in a relationship with someone else so quickly after, I suspect you were the rebound guy.
Best to keep your dignity and steer clear of her. Relationships end for all sorts of reasons, just move on.

She was still in a long-term relationship AND sleeping with someone else whilst she was with you? Makes you sound like one of three!

Telling her partner may be tempting but as you all live near each other, you’re just going to have horrible interactions every time you bump into them. He’s not going to thank you, if they’re moving back in together they could have been on a break and you filled a gap for whatever reason.

Let’s face it, she doesn’t really want to be friends. The chance of you or someone else telling her partner that you had a fling is too high. (Although I’m thinking it was all secretive as otherwise he / someone would have seen you together?)

Anyway. You don’t have to be happy for her. You don’t have to have anything to do with her. Just move on. The best revenge is a life well lived.

If you loved the child, I don't see how trying to break up their parents if they're moving back in together is in his/her best interests?

If they were living apart, were they on a break and so she was free to see other people?

She might have done you dirty but I'm not sure you'll feel better from that.

Sorry didn't mean to quote anyone.

FaceIt · 27/07/2026 17:25

It will only serve to make you look rather pathetic (sorry).

Forget her and put your mental energy into something positive.

Onwards and upwards and don’t look back.

Sorry I know you are hurt but the child is one.
A one year old won’t know you’ve said happy birthday and you haven’t had a long term bond with the child.

She’s been an absolute shit to you and I don’t blame you for wanting to expose her though.
I probably would but I’m quite petty.
It won’t help you feel better and could bring more trouble to your door.

Revenge is a life well lived. She is a cheat and a liar but she will prob just deny deny deny if you try to out her. Leave her to her squalid little life. It’s her kid that’s the victim in this mess.
