Help. I’ve been seeing a man in his late sixties for nearly a year. Mostly all good. Sex is great except he has ED and has to take viagra. Recently though he has lost his erection . It’s coincided with reconciliation with his daughter and grandchild after he hadn’t seen her for over a year due to her having a controlling partner. The partner has now left and she is constantly texting him and he’s going around all the time doing gardening etc. it’s like it’s made him feel less sexy or something too. Im hoping it will be temporary but I’m struggling.

Well, it's either physical or mental. If it's physical there are other things he can do besides Viagra, such as changing his diet. If it's mental there's nothing really that's going to help other than seeing someone like a counsellor to get to the bottom of it. Is he worth your time though OP?

It could be a prostate issue

He’s had prostate etc. checked. He’s very loving and affectionate, kissing all the time. He says he gets distracted in his mind so I think it’s partly mental. I do love him and enjoy time together even if we didn’t have sex as we are in older years I’m in late 50s.

Maybe up the dose (safely) - IIRC you can find that you become used to it (in the same way a heavy drinker is more tolerant than a light drinker)

Try and get him to Move away from Viagra and onto low dose cialis and see how that goes, also a good diet - exercise all those things will help
