I watched this TikTok and I’m now kind of panicking because she is describing behavioural patterns of my husband. I agree with what she is saying, but I don’t want to end my marriage. But my husband hates his job (and life) and it’s sucking the life out of me.

Basically people who moan and dont bother trying to help themselves or allow you to help them are energy vampires and are draining your spiritual energy

Here is the thing

People can only drain you if you allow it if someone is going to drag their issues to you consistently and repeatedly without doing anything about it themselves why get sucked in? They are never going to change their pattern change yours have some stock phrases "im sorry to hear that" "that sounds terrible" and thats all you need to say/do unless they actually ASK for help finding a solution then maybe try to help

My ex was like this .. always cup half empty. It channels negativity and is exhausting. It brings you down.
