hi everyone I fled to a women’s refuge with my 3 children in march I have been offered a house and I will be moving into it in July luckily I still have my tenancy at my old council house so I plan to pay for removals to pick up all my stuff and move it to my new home I’m really excited but got a quote from Anyvan and it’s going to cost about £2000 which is going to be nearly impossible to save for, I’m on uv credit. Does anyone please please know of any grants that are available to help with fleeing costs I have search the internet but can’t find any, women’s aid used to do a 2,500 pound grant but stopped it now please help I’d really appreciate it! X

Just wanted to say I’m so pleased you got out. That’s massive e. Please contact your local council - they do offer grants to people fleeing DA xx
