Single in your 30s: how do you stay positive?

Fellow singletons in your 30s, how are you keeping upbeat about being single? I'm 35 (f) and struggling a bit about being single, and prospects of meeting someone decent. Options on the dating apps are pretty minimal... I feel I'm getting a wee bit old for going on boozy nights out so it's unlikely I'll meet someone that way. I feel right now I just work and go to the gym, and I'm sure there must be more I can do with my life just now to keep me upbeat whilst I'm on my own. Anyone any words of wisdom on what's worked for them? Thanks in advance :)

Just talk to single people in their 40s and 50s. You'll be relatively upbeat in no time 😉

I focused on renovating my house, and working on my career to feel like I was achieving something. At least if no decent man came along, I was more comfortable and more financially secure.

Had ds in my forties, and I was very glad I'd done both.

Are you looking to have children? Would you consider going it alone? Can you find other ways to fill your social life so dating doesn't have to be a focus?
