Had a first date off Hinge last night and definitely learned a harsh lesson about AI!
The clue was there in that two of his photos showed a tanned, dark haired guy. Very put together, very professional looking. The rest seemed to show a pale guy with different hair but all from quite a distance. I just hoped the first would be representative as he looked older in them.
I'm met outside the bar by a pale ginger guy (nothing wrong with that appearance in general, just highlighting the difference!) who later told me he'd never had a tan in his life. I wish I'd had the guts to say well how do you explain these photos?! Got everything off on a bad foot really.
What a waste of time and feel quite deceived. So always find the least attractive photo and decide from that if you fancy them. Lesson learned 🤦♀️
