8 Year wedding anniversary gift help for DH!

I need the help of mumsnet! 8 year wedding anniversary coming up and stuck for ideas!
It is bronze/pottery (traditional) linen/lace (modern). I like the idea of bronze but struggling to find anything DH would like. He is into motorbikes, reading, and likes to drink whisky/vodka.

Anniversary is mid April so just have a couple of weeks to sort something.

A book on famous bikers or motorbikes history? Maybe a gift card to a related store if he buys equipment?

Also not related to bronze theme, but you can make an anniversary video with wedding pictures and photos taken throughout these years and have it in a bronze colout palette.

I would toss out whatever the 8 year mark should be, such as bronze. Oddly, or probably naturally, the things that my first husband and present husband haved loved the most in presents are toys. I'd go for a vintage or collectible miniature motorbike for display. Plenty on the Internet for sale.

I bought a bronze bookmark, though in fairness he doesn't actually use it because it's too thick.

Thank you! Whisky tasting set is a good shout, he likes to try different ones alongside his favourites. We are over - supplied in bottle openers and keyrings however!

I should have mentioned - he does not sit still/have patience! Sort of thing I'd love to do though...

Thank you, whisky is always a good idea. I think he now has all the books he has expressed an interest in - his birthday is early January and with Christmas too he gets lots close together, and clears the list of good options! Ditto with equipment really. I like the idea of a montage, finding then time may be difficult though 😬

Except for 10 and 30, we have just done cards.

10th DH bought me my eternity ring
25th we had a nice holiday, just the two of us at one of the places we spent our honeymoon.
30th - I bought myself a pearl necklace and earrings and jokingly told DH and he gave me the money and said at least he knew I liked what I bought.

Thank you - he has a monogrammed leather bookmark previously gifted by me, otherwise I like that idea.

That's a good idea - maybe after 10 we will move to that except for the big ones. Such a stress finding something each year! Also means the gifts have more meaning when you do get them.

To be fair, we forgot the card after the first year but had kept the previous year's and started adding a new message until our 25th when we treated ourselves to new ones. Probably only worked because we both forgot :)

You could both do something you both like-go out for food, a spa, a massage, a motorbike experience, whatever.

Better than more clutter, it sounds like you have all the token gifts you could ever think of already.

We definitely have done most token gifts - we aren't minimalists and do love cool "stuff" but seeing as we haven't unpacked around 2 boxes of aforementioned from our last move, we should take stock!
Unfortunately our babysitters (in laws) are away for 2 weeks over our anniversary, and infact DH is away the day and night of for work! A delayed meal is probably on the cards though.

I wish we lived closer to some as this is a great idea he would actually enjoy! But they are unfortunately all hours away, we are coastal east anglia.

I had a look for UK versions but not much forthcoming - just antique ones for the cost of a nice whisky, but without the whisky!

Yes definitely thinking whisky now - it is bronze in colour I suppose! And I noticed last night his latest "nice" bottle is almost empty.
