My friend has recently separated from her husband due to multiple issues that seem to stem mostly from him, and now there’s another woman involved. I’ve personally experienced infidelity in past relationships. Another friend’s marriage ended a few years ago due to another woman, and yet another friend’s divorce was only recently finalised.

We’re all in our late 30s, and seeing these patterns has started to change how I view marriage and men, which is causing anxiety as I approach my own marriage. I can’t help but wonder if these issues are about men in general, or is it the stage of life we’re at? We all started our relationships fairly young, in our twenties, and perhaps, because of our own issues, we overlooked warning signs early on??

Unsure what I am asking.

any red flags in your relationship?

No, not at the moment, we are having couples therapy not for any particular reason just because its something that we think is a good idea. Trouble is I didn't particularly see any red flags with my friends ex or her relationship... hindsight is a wonderful thing.
