Invited ex to party

My boyfriend invited his ex to his birthday party without talking to me or letting me know and it’s been eating away at me since. I spoke to him about it and he offered to uninvite her but it’s jsut the fact he did it in the first place that hurts. And he admitted to me getting ‘lost’ somewhere in that decision and he was very very apologetic. I don’t know whether I’m just being dramatic but any advice?

How long since they were together?

How long since they were together?

They broke up in October after a year (he’s always said the break up was happening for a while) and we got together start of the year so it was quite quick and I was hesitant about it but nevertheless it happened

It sounds as though he still regards her as an important part of his life.

So he jumped from her to you barely letting the bed go cold and he’s obviously not really moved on.

Thats the risk you take when you get into a relationship with someone who has only been single 5 minutes - they’re on the rebound.

it sounds like you’re the rebound to be honest.

Looks like he will soon have ex number 2
