Getting ducks in a row

Good morning,

My husband walked out three weeks ago and although he came back pretty quickly to the family home, he's in the spare room and says he's done unless he changes his mind.

I've posted before and people said about getting ducks in a row, what would people recommend I need to do this please?

He blindsided me three weeks ago and I don't want this happen again. I want to be prepared.

Thank you

Understand your finances, what he has, what comes in and out. Consider what you need to be able to go solo. What is your salary like, can you afford bills, do you need to increase hours at work. Where can you live, can you afford to buy him out.....just lots of bits so you're mentally and financially prepped when the time comes.

Basically, seeking legal advice to check finances, savings, pensions, house equity, any investments, which is made harder as all information is online.
