Dilemma

I discovered by accident while using my husbands phone that one day last week he had called a landline number I didn’t recognise, 3 times and it displayed a blocked sign next to it. Then he had sent a text to the number saying, “Please text me.”
I looked up the number on Who Called Me and it said Magarathea Telecommunications Ltd.
Can anyone enlighten me? I can’t ask him as he had form for lying and cheating in the past.

I don't have a clue about the company but a quick Google shows this

Do you recognise any of the people?

It's a scam company that try to get you to call them back/add them on WhatsApp. A Google of them pulls up loads of similar situations.

Because he thought one of their calls was a legit call and genuinely thought he needed to have a conversation with them. They are a company that essentially exists for exactly that purpose. They'll have left a message or a voicemail for him which made him believe he needed to text them to get something sorted out. He'll then have realised they were dodgy as fuck and blocked them.

Frankly, if you are at the point in your relationship where something as tiny as a missed call from an unknown number on your partner's phone is enough to make you worry this much, it's doomed anyway.

Sometimes if you decline the call there’s an option to send a message in response like please text me/sorry I’m busy right now

If you weren’t worried, you’d simply have asked him.
