Is there any? I've blown my lid at my partner this evening over his snoring and clicking sounds as he sleeps.

The last few days we've been sleeping in the same room as I'm trying to build a studio from the bedroom to work from home.

We've been sleeping separate for many years as I sadly can't sleep when I'm next to him.

Coupled with being in the thick of it hormonally, I just lost it.

What can I do to help with crippling hatred of certain noises? It's shameful how angry I become. I mostly contain it but it's come bubbling out royally tonight 🤦🏻‍♀️

Go back to sleeping separately, lack of sleep symptoms can be even worse than just being ill

Think we're gonna have to. Just being reading another post who said her husband had cured his snoring with Oregano oil. Worth a shot 👌

I did CBT online a few years ago and it helped me somewhat, but in no way am I cured! I couldn't talk about it out loud without crying so opted for a online chat version of CBT with a therapist.
I think it's one of those things we just deal with, it peaks during certain times of the month for me or when I'm tired.

Am starting with the hormones at the beginning of next cycle. Had enough of it😄 Outbursts are too much 😑

I work in emergency and trauma medicine. People thing I chose it because it was busy. I chose it because it's so loud ! 🤣

It's small nosies that drive me up the fkn wall. Crisp packets, chewing !!!

Try loop ear plugs ??

I'd talk to your gp. A low dose of a Med like Lexapro actually works. It's more common in patients with anxiety, speaking from my medical experience!

I listen to audio books with noise cancelling headphones - literally all night. It's the only way I can get some sleep as it blocks out all the other noises that drive me mad.

O M G I thought it was just me.
I go to bed with my love and have the cuddles then I'm off to my lovely widow wide open cool, noise free, gorgeous bedlinen spare bed!
I absolutely need 8 hours of blissful sleep and that's the only way I can get it x
My OH is absolutely okay with this but if he wasn't it would be tough.. My sleep is non negotiable.
