Husband keeps saying top up the kettle whenever you use it last, he gets annoyed. Is this something to be annoyed off?

He’s insane. Tell him to stop being daft.

My first husband used to come out with this sort of crap. Why didn't I leave the toilet seat up for him? Why did I put the margarine back in the fridge when I didn't need to? Why did I leave the plates to drain instead of drying them straight away? He didn't actually care about any of it, it was just a way of keeping me wrong-footed and on edge.
It's the behaviour of a prize prick, so be on your guard.
