Indecent proposal (a 'what if' scenario)

Disclaimer: No, this is not something that is happening to me or someone I know, I am just curious to see what people think about it. We are all friends here, without our real names, on the internet, you can be honest :)
My wife has seen one of these silly videos on instagram where they ask people how much money they would cheat on their partners for... I just said it reminded me of the movie Indecent Proposal... And that made me think. I was a teenager when I saw that movie, and back then I used to think that everything has a price. I scoff at the mindset I used to have, but we've all been kids at one point :)

Would you say you'd have a price you'd cheat on your partner for? This will mean nothing, it's just a silly topic, but what would be your limit when you say, fine, for that amount, I would. You know, not some "bajillion-gazillion times infinite" type of nonsense, but the "minimum", if you will.

I'm a 63YO widow. So I don't have a partner to cheat on and if someone offered me a million dollars to have sex with him, I'd die laughing first.

I think the reality of this is it’s very dependent on your personal financial situation. I am fortunate enough to be comfortable and secure therefore I don’t think there is currently an amount.

However, I can imagine that if I was struggling to feed or clothes my children there would almost certainly be a price at which I would be prepared to do it, and almost certainly a lot less than £1 million.

This sounds very lame, but I really love my life. We are comfortable, love each other, and have such fun times together as a family and as a couple. No amount of money would tempt me to risk it, I’m not sure I’d even want that much money as sounds alienating from my friends and family.

Nothing, I don't value money highly enough that any amount would tempt me away from one of the few things in life money can't buy.

It’s not cheating as such though, is it? It’s sex for money. And no, unless I was in a very very desperate situation and couldn’t feed children etc etc, no I wouldn’t sell myself.
