Hi ! Looking for some thoughts please 😊

so u recently bumped into someone that I’ve known for years ( use to look after his children at work ) their now teenagers !

just chatting.. and then he offered to take me out for a coffee.
I declined.. and thought oh no, ( panicked a bit maybe)

anyway since then… I joined the gym to find out he goes to the same one !
was a little off after I was a little short , so I apologised. He was then fine. And said if I ever feel like a coffee let him know.

anyway, couple weeks past, keep catching him looking at me ect.. and I just feel like maybe I’m being a bit to drawn back at the fact I use to look after his children years ago and also because we use to live in the same village ….. so know loads of mutual friends. Would this bother you ?

And also… some of his friends I’m not keen on.

Do you like him or not? If you like him there’s no harm in going for a coffee and seeing if that transpires into taking the risk of getting into something deeper. You don’t have to decide at hello whether it’s going to progress to something more than friends and going for a coffee is nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ So if you like him, go.

It doesn't really seem like you're all that into him, tbh.

In what capacity did you look after his kids?

Are you both single?

And more importantly, do you fancy him or not?

Coffee doesn’t hurt, it’s only coffee, see what happens

Why does it matter. Mpst of my partners have come from extended friendships groups so we know the same people

If you want to, go. If you don’t… then you don’t have to
