Relationship with child feels like it’s broken down this holiday

My relationship with my son(5) has never been brilliant to be honest. I try really hard (as I recognise I should) but we always seem to end up back at square one.

Anyway, this holiday it’s been so tough and he’s just a ball of anger and aggression and we’re now at the point he screams at me to stay away. Don’t know what to do tbh, life feels miserable.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time and sorry for your little son too as he sounds quite troubled. Have you reached out for any support? Maybe you could speak to your GP about the anger and aggression your son is displaying - you could be referred to child psychology for an assessment?
