Holiday Family Bliss and the Dramas

Hello all and thank you to anyone reading until the end. My DH.MIL and myself along with SD and her cousin are all away together. We’ve been away for almost 2 weeks and have 3 more days left.
MIL has treated us all to this holiday and we are extremely grateful to her for this. The SD decided to fly home 2 days ago leaving her cousin with us (the cousin is on the ex wife’s side of my husband). The cousin came out with us as the SD and boyfriend split up (he was supposed to be on this holiday) if you’ve kept up so far then thanks. I consider my SD whom I’ve known since she was small to be spoilt and entitled. I’m in the position though where if I say anything I get called out so I’m keeping my opinions to myself. Just wanted to share and reach out to you lovely readers as we’re now discussing piles and the treatments for them over the AI buffet, then getting the same questions and previous stories of them as MIL is struggling with her haemorrhoids. She has dementia and she also went missing on the first day putting everyone in a very fraught state. I’m laughing now as I’m writing this. I’d love to write a family drama novel as I’m newly retired and have been through a lot of shit during my lifetime. Has anyone else thought of writing a book including their own personal experiences?
Roll on 3 days so I can get packed and go home. I’m not ungrateful just ready to return to my normal life now. Just me, my husband, my lovely adult daughters and grandchildren and our dog who I’m missing so much. Sending love to all for a happy and healthy new year.
