Can you come back from having ‘the ick’

So I’ve been single since January and finally felt ready to venture out. Started talking to a guy, met him a few times, he’s nice. We went out one evening and he text me later on saying he wished we’d kissed. To which I told him go for it! Green light etc etc

the next time we meet, no sign of a kiss coming. He’s obviously nervous. Gets to the end of the night and he says ‘where are you parked?’ To which I point to my car and say over there…he tells me ‘I’m parked here’ so I’m like okay, if we don’t kiss now on our 3rd date then we’re just friends….so it results in me walking him to HIS car and kissing HIM. Which isn’t bad, I don’t mind making the move….but he was giggling like a girl. instantly I thought, oh no. He told me he gets nervous etc so I thought right I’m not absolutely ruling him out….but then the next time we meet, the giggling again..I know it’s nerves but how do I come back from the initial ick?! And is it even possible to!

Nope. In my experience true ick is unrecoverable

I agree. Once you have the ick it never goes.
A grown man giggling when he kisses a woman isn’t a great sign of maturity.

Nope. Especially not this early. What's even the point in trying to recover from it?

Imagine what he would be like if you made it to the bedroom...... 😬

No, the ick is non reversible. You should really have been told this when you got it... 🤪

He sounds like a school boy.

Hard to read this as I'm put off by the phase 'the ick' but I'd certainly be weirded out by someone giggling when kissing... it's not very attractive or sexy.

Any other dates lined up? 😘
