Vasectomy

DP recently had a vesectomy. Between booking it and going ahead with it he discussed it with a number of his mates who gave him different views, the majority of which were very positive.

I found out the day of his op that he had phoned his ex partner and told her about it which I think is very odd. They hate each other and spend a lot of time disagreeing. I think it’s very odd that he would discuss something very personal with his ex when they hate each other and if I am honest I am struggling with how I am feeling about her knowing something so personal about him.

I think a line has been crossed by him and I don’t understand why he needed to tell her. Can I have your thoughts please

Does he communicate with her in general or was it just to tell her this? Seems very odd.

Mrsnothingthanks just to tell her. They don’t communicate, if they do it ends in arguments

Do they have children? Is that why they’re in enough contact to be frequently disagreeing? Did he think that his children with her definitely not having more siblings from him was relevant to her for some reason?

Seems a bit weird ! Do they have children together ?

Were they together a long time? Did she know of what led to him having to have it done? How long have you been together?

They definitely don't hate each other.

Or at least he doesn't hate her if he's randomly decided to ring her and let her know.
