I finally confided in my family that my abusive ex is stalking me and my family respond by ignoring me? Saying they cannot help and not replying to my messages? I don't understand why they would do this? They don't even check in and ask if we're OK. How would you react to knowing your sister/daughter was being stalked? I have children too and no one is even asking after them! I want to understand what's going on but just feel so alone.

Yes. That's the really weird thing. All the professionals involved are taking things seriously and being really helpful and supportive. But not my family? I just don't understand why they'd do that to us?

I’d be wondering if they are on his “side”. You never know if/what he’s been whispering in their ears.
