Dating App - Costs and features

Going to treat myself to a paid dating app subscription for Christmas. Any recommendations for a mid 40s divorcee? I had a look and was surprised how expenses they are BUT I want to be able to hide my profile/photo so that it is only revealed to people that I ‘like’. Has anyone paid for similar and had success?

I've been on a few and off very quickly that I wouldn't recommend but there are a few for age related applicants such as " Our Time". Look at the reviews for the ones you've heard of. I met a fella in 2017 on a dating app he's Jamaican lives there I went there to Jamaica to meet him. At the time he was on a European tour and came to UK with his band so I met him here too . And since I've visited Jamaica 7 times something I'd never have done had I not met him I do see him for a few hours when I go there but only on trips to Kingston. Meeting him changed my life I'd never have gone there or even taken my daughter, my granddaughter and great granddaughter for holidays there. Plus we WhatsApp little messages and forward stuff we've come across on TikTok. No romance involved!

Am 53 -,recently done Ourtime / Match / Tinder / eharmony -

eharmony - didn’t result in one date

Tinder - mainly for hook ups (if that’s what you want - no judgement here!)

Ourtime - ok - a couple of dates

Match - most success on this one (have just started seeing someone and it’s going v well)

I’d recommend Match but this is based on my personal experience
