The way a man eats his food is the way he is going to make love to you....

sloppy, neatly, devouring it, or just absently picking at it...VERY wise words from an old friend

Do you agree or can add any pearls of wisdom about choosing a potential man.....?

My DH likes a bit of everything.
Always happy to try something new.

I am sat here staring intently at my DH eating, sniggering at every slurp and dribble....he's now gone into the kitchen to eat.....

He likes Take Out alot - should i be worried?!

MinkyBorage · 06/06/2008 20:01

It's true! WOW!! That's so so true!

OrmIrian · 06/06/2008 20:21

I am finding this thread disturbing. I am never going to be able to look at my colleageu the same way again. He sits opposite me and has this very neat way with a sandwich - small bites and chews very thoroughly. It looks more like a penance than a meal. I feel sorry for his gf to be honest....

Whitty · 06/06/2008 21:48

This has just had me laughing out loud, sooo funny.
My hubby tends to leave a little on his plate, but never leaves anything left behind in THAT area.....so its definately wrong I feel....!

SlartyBartFast · 06/06/2008 21:50

smotherd in ketchup
kack handed

Chandon · 06/06/2008 22:48

doesn´t bother with the preparation, waits until it´s under his nose, gets on with it very quickly but appreciatively, and always says: "That was lovely!"

jasper · 07/06/2008 00:34

think it is nonsense.

messy slurpy eaters turn me off. They would not get near the bedroom ( in my previous single days that is !)

schneebly · 07/06/2008 00:39

OMG sooooo true.

DH careless, messy eater - rushes it likes to eat in front of telly!

Says it all really.

my DH plays with his food. He peels the shells off peas. He makes little faces. He moulds mashed potato. He honestly treats it as entertainment.

We are both veggie for what its worth.

He likes to eat EVERYTHING on his plate. Doesnt leave much. And he licks the plate if no one else is around.

And I am very happy with him!

AbstractMouse · 07/06/2008 01:18

Dp will eat all of one foodstuff on his plate before starting on the next. Never mixes and matches (could indicate an unadventurous personality) nods sagely

CrushWithEyeliner · 07/06/2008 10:13

LOL

For me it is true - DH is a neat, slow and very tidy eater, never wastes any however has to really be in the mood to eat (not a big appetite)

Personally I quite like it if a man makes love to me with, you know, his penis

if he ate his food with his penis I would be pretty upset

hatwoman · 07/06/2008 10:16

well if this is true that must make me a top quality dish. dh is passionate about food, spends a small fortune on top quality stuff, has the most varied diet of anyone I know, will spend an entire day cooking exquisute stuff from his Raymon Blanc cookbook, will try anything and everything

Kally · 07/06/2008 19:34

So true, so true. My ex used to make such a mess, crumbs all over the place and talk while he was eating and breathing heavy through his nose as he did so (kids used to laugh at this and mimic him til this very day). His plate was always the messiest to scrape.. Our bed used to look like a war zone after... Work that one out.
Now I have a very fastidious guy, but give him a plate of grub, all nicely set out, and he'll get stuck in, lots of slurping noises, mash it all up, and keep complimenting... ask for more... eat what I leave... then gently set his knife and fork tidy and sweep up the crumbs and wipe his mouth with a paper towel...and say it was perfectly delicious..(even beans and mash) love it, just love it... so true.

littlewoman · 08/06/2008 03:24

My dp has mayonnaise with everything (that's true, so I suppose your theory must be too )

My ex, most recent ex I mean when eating, leaves his food in front of him until its almost completely cold, then picks at it usually whilst his attention in focused on something else like ebay.

In bed, he takes his times, I mean really takes his time on me I mean, really enjoys himself SLOWLY and doesnt even contemplate cumming until I have at least twice, so I suppose its kinda true what they say.
