Why I am so easily impressed by work interactions

This would be a strange one. I think I am HSP - highly sensitive person.
I work with nice colleagues, there is chat but nothing vile, bullying or personal.

However when I come home, I cannot stop rethinking about the interactions with random colleagues. I want to switch that off and just read, relax etc at home.

What is this really? Any brain specialist?

OCD and anxiety methinks

Not enough going on in your life. HSP is a new one on me.

This. ‘HSP’ is just somewhat self-aggrandising shorthand for ‘I struggle with rumination’, just as ‘empath’ means ‘I’m unable to manage my own emotional regulation’.

Isn't this normal?
Don't we all think about what's gone on during the day/week?
Or do I also have some disorder....?

I used to replay interactions in my mind over and over - it was a MH issue exacerbated by menopause. Since HRT (and courses of CBT from traumatic events in life where I spiralled because I’d never dealt with them properly) it no longer occurs and I’m so much happier and lighter. I just needed some good coping mechanisms.

Yes, it is normal
I just wondered is there a way to ban these people from my mental space when I leave work

Ah, OK. I suppose the only thing I can think of is keeping your mind busy with other things.
I suppose I accept this as part of life...
