Im using it ans despite my filers being set to 50 miles, bumble has this annoying travel feature which shows promising me then I scrolll down and live 400 miles away. If bumble is about empowering women and isn't a hook up site then whats the point of travel mode. Its so bloody annoying. Rant over.

I don’t like it.

If you ‘like’ someone and they’ve ‘liked’ you too, they go into your ‘Chats’ page. Then you have 24 hours to contact them. You can extend that by another 24 hours but if you don’t contact them within that timeframe they disappear - NEVER to be seen again!

I did message Bumble to complain about this nonsense, but unsurprisingly just got some stock reply back.

I don’t want Bumble deciding how long I have to message someone.

Agree i dont like that either. I feel the travel thing encourages hook ups which i thought bumble didnt want...
Also dont like that men can like me despite not matching my filters in anyway. Guess they all do that

But isn’t bumble about “ bumbling “ upon some one. So you could have done , but now they got on a train and live 400 miles away. I think it works in your proximity for matching , then those people might move .. It doesn’t mean you are matching with people 400 miles away ?

No despite my filters I get recommendations of men way outside my location and men still hit like even though im miles away. Its annoying and makes it so clear that men really just swipe right on every woman they like the look of rather than reading the bio. I work ft and have kids. Im not travelling 50 miles to meet someone. Wont work.
