What is with guys matching and then giving one word answers? Why bother opening the app and responding at all if you're not going to even write a single sentence?? Or ask a question to keep the conversation going?
Also I've seen a few profiles from the last time that I interacted with and yep, you guessed it, the same photos from then 😅

thanks for reporting from the frontlines! It’s a mess! The apps really are awful.

They're certainly not great...but what are the alternatives in middle life? I WFH, most of my friends are married. When we go out, a lot of the time its to restaurants or places where you're not really going to mingle. Ive read on here about joining walking, running groups etc. Sounds a bit grim to fain interest in an activity while scanning the men's fingers for wedding rings in the hope of one you like the look of being single 😬 Sigh
