She's around 6 months old - how often do I need to see her for her to start recognising me and knowing me?

Once a month or every 6 weeks? Obviously when she's young you'd have to see her at her parents house, is that a problem?

How often do you normally see her parents?
Because with a baby the relationship with the parents comes before the relationship with the child.

I have a four year old nephew and I actually think it’s about quality not quantity of time. I live fairly far away from him and his parents and so only see him 4-5 times a year, but he is obsessed with me and my husband and has a great relationship with us because when we see him we put all our effort into doing stuff with him and having a great time. It’s such a rewarding relationship!
