Think my sister is lying to me?

My relationship with my sister has not always been easy. We have reconciled in the last few years though at my instigation. She has just been to visit me, I never get invited to stay with her by way of background.
The problem I have is I just don’t trust her; I think she lies to me. She’s told me she’s off on holiday this week, but is still at home as of today. She had told me she has purchased expensive equipment- Dyson airwrap - never seen it. Previously she had lied about important things relating to my parents death. She is a bit of a fantasist as well. WWYD - leave it or call it out?

Could off on holiday just mean she isn't working this week? Obviously the other stuff suggests she is economical with the truth. Is she jealous of you/your life?

She named the country she was supposed to be going to. She maybe jealous - I’d never thought of that.
