Hiya just wanting some advice. You'll see on previous post inwas assaulted by my ex partner. After the incident I took screen recording of facetime conversations of us talking about it. On them screen recording he admits to it but does minimise it. The police have taking these as evidence but will the court take them. Ive recently looked online and your meant to tell a person your recording and i didnt know. Now im worried I'll get into trouble. My ex was arrested last night and is currently in custody due to be interviewed i felt relief but now ive looked online im once again worried that ive broke the law by recording without his permission

He denied everything and has been released on bail without charge

Apparently my word against his. Theres screen recordings of him saying "did I squeeze your neck though" " did i sqeeze your mouth" " it was to shut you up" photo of bruise to face, photo or red mark on neck.
I messaged my sister immediately after incident which I have evidance of
My GP has seen bruise and I did report to her a few days after the last assault Which is on my medical notes
Not sure if either of that is useful though since they didnt witness either assault

Well I hope there are strict bail conditions in place, and that this leads to a charge.
