Another SIL one

Ah I hate my SIL. All she talks about is herself and constantly showing off about her kids and all the clubs they are doing.
Family get-togethers are becoming unbearable, or maybe I just can't put on the fake smile anymore!
She recently forgot my sons birthday, and when we mentioned it she made up some lie and had a go at my husband!

Anyone have any advice or experience

Just go low contact with her.

She probably feels the same about you! Just let it wash over your head ☺️

Not sure why a SIL needs to remember your son’s birthday
but hey ho, I’d have minimal
contact and let hubbie deal with her

Sunshinekim · 30/09/2025 12:54

It's her nephew

Just because youre related in marriage, you dont have to be friends. Grey rock her, keep contact to minimal
