Now ex partner arrested for assault

Hi there

my now ex partner was arrested for assault on Friday and I received notification he had admitted to this and has been released on bail with a no contact order in place as a bail condition.

I am in a real panic with not knowing the process and next steps now and how long these things take. Was just looking to see if anyone has any information or experience with this.

He assaulted you? Hope you’re ok. No real advice but assuming you don’t live together maybe you should change the locks and get a ring doorbell x

its not clear from your post but I assume he assaulted you?
I’ve no experience but once your post is in the right place you should get more replies.

Thank you! I’m still a little in shock and wobbly but I’m ok.

hes not allowed to contact me or come to my address or he’ll be arrested which is a little encouragement. It’s all been such a shock as we were incredibly happy and didn’t see it happening in anyway so it’s really hard to process.
