Clare’s Law

My DD has met a guy and it turns out that a friend knows him and shared that he had heard some things to be concerned about. I encouraged her to do a Clare’s Law and the Police have called her to arrange a video call next week. This makes me think that they have something to share with her. Has anyone else done this or does anyone know if they would arrange a video call if there is nothing to share?

Wow I would assume there’s something they have to be very careful about how they tell her. Have they told her anything about the setup eg. Make sure he’s not in the house or have someone with her? She’s been very sensible checking with them and she will need to consider very carefully what they say. I would be preparing her to expect upsetting news.

Thank you so much for responding, that’s very useful. Luckily she has not been seeing him long so he won’t be around when they call her. She accepts that she needs to start distancing herself now.

Make sure she has her location turned off on everything including Snapchat Flowers
