I have a round diamond which I really don’t like 😩, does anyone know if it would it cost less to buy a new diamond in a shape I like and get my ring modified or to buy a whole new ring?

Diamonds that are grown from real diamond chips in a lab (ie lab grown diamonds) are so cheap nowadays. Look on the jewellery channel TJC. If you get set in silver not gold they are even cheaper. You can get a whole carat for a couple of hundred.
