my partner has told me that when we have sex from behind he wants me to move but I have no idea how to. With my ex he did all the moving in that position. Doesn’t help that I think he tried a lot of things with his ex

Maybe this is something to try together slowly at first until you find a rhythm that suits and you can take it from there? It's maybe just a matter of communication as to what feels good for both of you so you can move back and forth but communicate so it's not becoming too rough for you? If you're not sure what he means can you ask him? Sometimes it can be fun directing each other but you need to feel safe enough emotionally with him to do that? Do you feel emotionally safe with him?

I would assume he means bit backwards and forwards like pushing onto him, but maybe ask him what or even ask him to grab your hips and guide you. Best thing is to just communicate with him

Ask him how he wants you to move and have him explain?

And if you don’t feel comfortable doing that, rethink if you want to be having sex with him at all if you can’t have an open and honest conversation about your sex life.

And stop comparing yourself to his ex!
