Texts after first date - do I want another date?

I’m new to online dating. I had my first date this morning and it went well, I wasn’t even at nervous as I expected. We got on well but I’m not sure yet if there’s potential for me to like him romantically or just as a friend.

He’s texted me this evening saying he enjoyed meeting me and would like to meet again sometime. How soon do I need to reply to this? I don’t know what I want to do - in one sense I’d be up for meeting again but I’m afraid that doing so will suggest I definitely want something more. Any advice or suggestions of what to reply would be welcome!

If he didn't interest you, I'd tell him there was no spark. Unless you think it's a slow burner?

Do you want to see him again? If so, arrange to meet up. Don't play games. If you're not attracted or don't see any potential, move on.

if you don’t know there’s only one way to find out?

Meet somewhere public and in the daytime, and you can easily bow out after if two (or more) is enough. Sometimes a brief date is nowhere near enough to get a feel (🤦‍♀️) for how it’s going.
