Are there any dating apps where you don’t have to swipe and people can just message you if they are interested? I use to use ones like that years ago but now it seems it’s all swiping. Are there any left that aren’t?

If you like someone, swipe and message.

If they like you, they can swipe and message.

I think they're all 'swiping' now which is a shame as I think people make decisions within half a second. I'm sure many, many people have swiped on someone after less than a second of consideration when that person could have turned out to have been perfect for them.

I hate all the swiping and I heard men swipe on everyone so a swipe doesn't mean someone is interested anyway

Yes that's true but swiping is also involved. There are a few ways of finding members on POF.

1. Local search / near me
2. Specific search where you set the criteria
3. Meet Me (swipe / swipe/ swipe)

Unfortunately I think both men and women use the "Meet Me" swipe through photos version about 80% of the time. (The other search options are limited and keep bringing up the same people).

I was using POF recently and had a few dates, but have now come back off it as I was getting fed up.

Hinge you can message and also see likes? I think there's a limit to how many you message though? FB dating too? Bumble, you can add a "note"
