today I found out that someone who I used to be friends with went and shared some really personal things about me with another friend of mine. I am still friends with this second person. I know I’m probably being a baby and this stuff probably happens all the time, but I feel so heartbroken about it. That person was
my friend at some point, just because the friendship ended doesn’t justify her sharing my personal secrets with others. Can you share any stories you have about friendships where they ended up doing something like this, I just feel so alone.

I don’t tell my friends really secret stuff and you shouldn’t either.

I’m not sure I’d be telling people very private stuff about my life. It will always get out.

Do you think it was told in a vindictive way though, or were they chatting about a similar situation and person one said “ oh didn’t something like that happen to teddy bear?’.

Sometimes what feels very private to one person doesn’t seem as secretive to another, and if they’ve been told the info then they wouldn’t always assume it wasn’t to be repeated IYSWIM?
