Stirred up feelings

I’m a lady in my late 50s . I’ve been single with no male activity for many years and been happy . However a man I’ve seen at my local shop recently complimented me and asked me if I’d like to go for a coffee. I was so flustered I said not at the moment. He hasn’t been in since and I feel all unsettled about myself like it’s brought up feelings. I’m feeling really rubbish now.

Don’t be too hard on yourself. You wasn’t expecting to be asked and being flustered is a natural reaction.

If he’s local you’ll hopefully cross paths again soon and then you can arrange that coffee!
