Using Facebook to look at girls

Me and my partner were looking at something on his Facebook and when he searched, I noticed women in his search bar. I asked him to click on the see all button and it came up with loads of much younger women (19-25). We are both early 40s and have kids. I asked him what had been going on and he has basically been clicking on young attractive girls that appear in his people you may know section. I asked him why and he said he was looking to see what mutual friends they had and that it wasn’t deep. All these women were young and attractive.
My partner has cheated in previous relationships and I am really concerned that he has crossed the line. Why does he need to look at these much younger girls mutual friends. He says it’s nothing but I feel like it is a big deal. What do you think?

Your gut instinct will not leave you a stray. This is something you were never supposed to see, of course he’s lying on the why. Considering his past (why would you even be with a cheater is beyond me) this would turn me right off.
