Online Dating

Been chatting to someone online seemed decent enough messaging me good morning etc then asking when I can see him for a date. Said I was away in France this week but will maybe see him when I get back. He said Maybe, you mean definitely. I said ok definitely then. He said to choose dinner/drinks in London or lunch in Windsor followed by a boat trip etc
I thought wow someone that seems decent finally. I said dinner might be better as I was coming back from France Friday night late so might not be able to do lunch. He agreed that dinner/drinks would be better. Yesterday radio silence and today nothing so far. Why do men do this? So disheartening isn’t it?

Honestly, online dating is more hassle than it’s worth in my opinion. It should be fun but it’s just games/being ghosted etc etc. going on the men I’ve met anyway…

Had this SO many times. I think they have a few girls optioned and then nearer the time chose the one they want to continue with. I had one where I'd booked the restaurant then he cancelled that morning and blocked me!
Tbh he sounds a bit full on from the beginning so maybe you've dodged a bullet. Good luck x
