The last supper

Tonight is our last supper as a family. It’s very sad and our oldest asked stbex if tonight was our last family meal together. I’m moving out tomorrow. It’s all very sad 😔 Seeking a hand hold.

Is your eldest moving out with you?.

Yes both children moving with me with shared custody. Oldest is going on holiday tomorrow with ex.

It's very hard. Have a good cry, then look forward to better times, which will come I'm sure (speaking from experience.) Your children will have learnt that, to be happy, you sometimes have to make difficult decisions.

Thank you. The marriage was toxic with emotional abuse but these lasts are still poignant. H and I were a shit show but we still could share happy moments as a family. It’s the little things that I will miss. The Saturday night takeways and movies or the family walks together. Or just chatting about what the kids have been doing. I’m looking forward to a fresh start in my lovely new house but it’s still sad.
