Meeting DPs family and friends for the first time

I'm early 50s.

I haven't had to meet relatives for the first time for over 30 years.

It's not happened yet in our year of dating as his hometown is the other end of the country.

I'll be staying with him in his parents house, which feels even worse!

I know I just need to be myself, they'll love me etc, but I'm still super nervous. Any tips?

I guess this is nerve-wracking at any age. But there’s nothing you can really do to prepare. Although it might be a good start to pack them a nice gift and maybe a book or something if you find you need some downtime. I hope all goes well.

Thank you. I know I can't really prepare for it.

Thing is, I'm a confident happy professional who has to face much tougher things daily in the work life. But this has reduced me to a bundle of nerves!
