Been single for a while - 40s woman - how do I get back into relationship?

Last 5 years, been single. No sex, no fwb, no masturbation etc

I am fit, actively play sports and gym goer.

Mentally, I didn't feel ready to have commitment relationship with any men.

Been with one ex-boyfriend for 20 years before break up.

I feel my sex drive is increasing recently somehow but, self conscious and don't know any men I am comfortable with to share the love. I miss having a sex now.

I recently became bi-curious after chatting with my friend (she recently became a single after break up) and she also told me she starts becoming bi-curious..

Is it quite common women in 40s becoming bi-curious? And I don't feel ready to have relationship commitments yet but, what are the good way to explore?
How do I get back into dating/ relationships without online dating app nowadays once I am ready?

As a single woman in 40s, feel like left out of society and can't find a place to look for a friend and relationships and take it further - feels lost.

What are your hobbies? Are there some activities you like that men might also like?

One of my friends really wanted a boyfriend and I told her that then she should try new hobbies as she only did girly things like taking courses in baking, making candy, and arranging flowers. However, luckily she also liked trekking and first met the man she is now married to on top of a mountain in Norway.

So how about going to a vintage car show, a boat show, or go watch some team sport like rugby? Or maybe join in some battle reenactment. You could also join a language class.

Check out Matthewhussey.com and his books and podcasts. He’s the top dating and relationships expert and so down to earth - just talks common sense.

Think about interests and hobbies you love or would like to try and dive in! Tennis clubs are great, running and watersports clubs…

Developing (or acknowledging) same sex attraction later in life is not uncommon.

For women curious about exploring... Feeld, SkirtClub, KillingKittens & MarriedBees have all been of interest to people I know who wanted to connect for 'fun'. Also Mint events/ play parties (but more aimed at gay/ bi women than the 'curious').
