Don’t know why this bothers me

So I happened to notice a status on my exes whatsapp that sounds like he has met someone, I’m not surprised weve been split years so of course he would have but it’s bothered me for some reason, not because I want him or want to be with him but the fact he gets to move on with his life, start a fresh and I don’t. Is this a normal way to feel? Has anyone else felt this way?

Yes I’d love to but they are with me full time, I don’t have money for sitters as he doesn’t pay maintenance, I guess I could invite men over whilst they are asleep but that’s something I’d rather not do!
