I’ve had some mental health issues and time off work. Since this I have had some open conversations with my boss. We now have an open dialogue outside of work (social media) and I now have some probably inappropriate interactions with her! I really like her from a professional and personal point of view but how is the best way to maintain appropriate boundaries?

are the inappropriate interactions from you both?
Is this becoming a friendship?

Stop the social media contact and keep it work related only.

Yes it’s a friendship- I should also clarify when I say inappropriate I don’t mean anything dodgy- just that it’s an exchange of messages you would sent a friend- not anything work related. I’m not good with boundaries though and some of my friends have said this is odd. So I’m just questioning is it ok really?
